What happened?

Nobody knows the combination

It came with the house, or the person who set it can't remember it.

The digital lock won't respond

No beep, no lights, or it turns down a code you know is right.

The key is lost or won't turn

Some safes use a key along with the combination, or instead of one.

You want a new combination

New owner, new staff, or too many people know the old one.

What changes the price

  • The kind of safe and the kind of lock
  • Whether it's locked shut, or just needs a new combination
  • How big and how heavily built the safe is

Questions people ask

The display is blank. Is the lock broken?

Try fresh batteries first. On many safes the battery spot is on the outside, under the number pad. If new batteries don't wake it up, call us.

Can I change the combination myself?

Some safes let you, if you have the current combination and the maker's steps. Without the current one, or if the lock won't take the new one, call us.

I don't know what kind of safe I have. Is that OK?

Yes. Look for a label on the door or the back, and describe what you see when you call.
